Burn patients suffer not only from severe physical injuries, but also emotionally and spiritually as they work towards recovery. Treatment for burn injuries can be a difficult and lengthy process and our inpatient care unit provides a team approach that includes physicians, nurses, counselors, and other caregivers committed to providing the best outcomes for our patients.
Patients and their families visiting the Burn Center have access to the latest treatments as well as a caring supportive staff that put patient’s and their family’s needs first. We understand the impact that a traumatic burn injury can have and provide the resources and emotional support necessary to begin our patients and their families on the road to recovery.
The Outpatient Burn Clinic at Rohini Hospital provides comprehensive care for burn patients who have been recently discharged from our Inpatient Unit or for those who’s burns did not require hospitalization. Treatments are provided for all burn injury types including; chemical, thermal, electrical, contact, or smoke inhalation burns. In addition, our therapists provide care to address range of motion issues and scar management.
Our physicians also participate in the latest clinical trials research to provide the patients with the most advance treatments and care available anywhere in the Intermountain West.
The Outpatient Burn Clinic is staffed with two Family Nurse Practitioners as well as supportive nursing staff and therapists.
